DICK'S ROLL-UPS
2 8 oz.
packages cream cheese
1 package Dick's Wild Root Horseradish®
Dip Mix (any flavor works well in this recipe)
1 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
Soften cream cheese, mix in dip mix, and add the horseradish.
Let stand covered in refrigerator for 1 hour. Spread mixture on flat
tortillas. Roll tortillas and slice.
DICK'S COLE
SLAW
16 oz. (1
bag) shredded cabbage mix.
2 TBSP sugar or Splenda
1/3 cup Dick's Wild Root Horseradish (Apricot
or Original)
2 cups mayonnaise
Combine shredded cabbage mix and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well. Add
either apricot or original horseradish and mix well. Fold in the mayonnaise
one cup at a time until you reach desired consistency. Refrigerate until
serving.
HORSERADISH
MASHED POTATOS
6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
2 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
Place
potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
cook until tender, then drain. Add butter, salt, pepper and mash the
potatoes. Beat in sour cream and horseradish.
HOLIDAY
SALAD
(2) 3oz. pkgs. cranberry or raspberry
Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
Mix and set aside.
Mix together in a bowl:
1 can condensed milk
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup chopped nuts
1 small carton cottage cheese drained
1 small can crushed pineapple
2 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
Blend
well and add to slightly gelled Jello. Pour into 9x13 inch glass pan.
Refrigerate. Cut into squares and serve.
MACARONI SALAD WITH FRESH
HORSERADISH & SHRIMP
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped Vidalia onion
2 TBSP sweet pickle juice
2 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 cup salad dressing ( Miracle Whip )
1 cup mayonnaise
1 pound chopped, cooked shrimp
Cook macaroni with salt
in water about 10 to 15 minutes at slow boil or until tender. Keep stirring
so it doesn't stick. Drain in colander and let cool, while you prepare
the onions, celery and shrimp. Mix all ingredients together. Add the
sweet pickle juice, celery seed, salad dressing and mayonnaise. Cover
bowl and let stand in the refrigerator for an hour or so to let it blend
the flavors of the ingredients.
CRANBERRY HORSERADISH
APPETIZER
1 8oz package cream cheese
4 oz of Dick's Wild Root Cranberry or Apricot Horseradish
Soften cream cheese. Add your choice of horseradish. Blend well, serve
with your favorite crackers or pretzels.
Try stuffing celery with this mixture also.
